We were enjoying our girls Christmas night out at BK in 2010 when there was a power cut across the Barbican! The staff were great at dealing with the situation and all the candles added to the festive atmosphere 🎄. When one staff member asked if anything else they could do to whilst the power was out I cheekily asked "Arrange for us to meet one of the Tanner brothers?!" I only said in jest but 5 minutes later she came back and said we could pop in to see James! It was a nice touch and made the evening even more memorable. Always a good night (and fab food!) at Barbican Kitchen 😃

My hubby and I have been together 21 years. We celebrated our 20th “Together Anniversary” and recently celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary at BK! In fact we’ve celebrated every one of our wedding anniversaries at BK because we know the food and service is exemplary and we’ve never been disappointed so thanks to all who have helped us have great “date nights” over the years!

On a theatre pre dinner date with my son he knocked a whole cup of milk in his lap just before we left. Had to strip him off and dry his jeans in the hand dryers so he didn’t have to sit through the lion king for 2 hours in wet trousers! I’ve had fantastic anniversary and birthday meals here as it’s my favourite restaurant and has always been ⭐️

We visit you regularly, so have a few to choose from, but the stand out and most memorable has to be that, You were my saving grace many moons ago during my pregnancy with my now 10 year old! Your pork medallions, green beans, rustic wedges and mushroom sauce was my craving! Followed by your out of this world creme brulee!!!! I ate there around 3/4 times a week!!!! My friends still laugh about it now, and whenever we visit, the conversation starts with, " Oh God, do you remember when you ate here every week when you were pregnant!" My now 10 year old thinks it's great that she now gets to eat in the restaurant that fulfilled her mums cravings! So Thankyou Barbican kitchen for being my supportive, comfort blanket and for keeping me VERY well fed!!! Happy 20 years!!!! 🥳🍾🥂

I had the most amazing vegan meal at your restaurant for Valentine’s Day with my partner. It was so refreshing to have such lovely options from the vegan menu. It really made a lovely dining experience as often options for me are very limited. The food tasted incredible. Thank you ❤️

My daughter & I travelled from Cornwall for our first visit to BK having also attended a hospital appointment in Plymouth. The meal was the best we have ever tasted, great venue & brilliant staff. The experience at BK certainly helped us following a difficult hospital appointment which resulted in several years treatment for my daughter at Royal Cornwall, Derriford & Kings College hospitals. Such treats are needed for recovery/absolute enjoyment & helped on several occasions. Thank you 💋 Well worth a visit for all from Paula D
